CRM Analytics brings unified analytics across multiple Sales organizations for Nielsen

Nielsen Holdings Plc is an American information, data and measurement firm. Nielsen operates in over 100 countries and employs approximately 44,000 people worldwide. Business Situation
In the past, SpringML partnered with Salesforce, and completed a complex integration and analytics project for Nielsen Global Connect. These dashboards combined data from multiple Salesforce orgs, SAP, and several manual sources. The dashboards that the SpringML team built were such a success that when Nielsen spun off its Connect division into a separate company (Nielsen Global Media) they knew they wanted to reproduce the same dashboards using their new org.
Solution
The effort of SpringML included rearchitecting the old Nielsen global org dataflows and datasets to exclude the spun off Nielsen Connect business and create a more efficient set of dataflows. The build needed to combine revenue data coming from SAP, adjustments from a data warehouse, and Salesforce pipeline data into a complete dataset unifying KPIs across multiple business units and global regions. Using CRM Analytics, this unified full stack dataset was built into an Executive Dashboard which gave their managers an overall view of their expected forecast and revenue on hand by Region, Product and Business Unit for the desired fiscal period. In addition, SpringML added a snapshot process within CRM Analytics, allowing for easy trending analysis of changes to pipeline and revenue over time.
Results
SpringML was able to deliver a solution using CRM Analytics which enables revenue analysis and forecasting across all of Nielsen’s multiple Salesforce organizations. This solution allows Nielsen’s senior leaders to easily find insights from their data, and socialize those insights on their pipeline and forecast calls.
